as a confidential counselor for our club. Björn Ottenhof has been the other confidential adviser for some time now.
Within our club, a confidential counselor is the person you as a member can turn to if you encounter problems, in particular transgressive behaviour, within our club. You can contact one of the confidential advisers for all forms of intimidation. Obviously, this is done in strict confidence and, if you prefer, without mentioning your name. This should lower the threshold for raising difficult issues. This is also in line with the guidelines that apply on this point from the NOC-NSF.
If an unpleasant situation arises, action can be taken. This can e.g. be to refer to a care provider or advising the board on improvements to achieve a safe climate.
Fortunately, as far as we know, there have been no situations in which a confidential counselor could be called in. And of course we hope it will never be necessary, but the board is happy to have two confidential advisers in Inês (mail:
